Nana Dee Foundation officially launched the charity with our first event on 23rd October 2017. It was a social evening where we could spread the word of all that we have been able to accomplish since we started as a charity and also all the plans that we have for the future.
It was a great evening with dinner, performances, raffle prizes, an entertaining fundraising auction which resulted in a bespoke handmade frame to be auctioned for £100 and a homemade Nana Dee Foundation decorated cake which was also auctioned for £100. The night ended with plenty of dancing, what a great evening it was!
With just over 100 people in attendance we were able to raise £1129.55, which is amazing and will be put towards sending more much needed resources to the orphans we support in Sierra Leone and Ghana and will also contribute towards the orphanage building project.
We would like to thank everyone who attended this event. It has been wonderful to hear what a lovely time everyone had and how impressed they were with all the work we have been doing over the years. We are definitely looking forward to our next event, so please keep your eyes peeled for more information.
